Due to growth in the business we are now offering a great opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to utilise their skills to help further expand our genetic offerings to the Australian farmer. This position is located in the Northam region in Western Australia.
You will be working as a part of a highly motivated team conducting agricultural research in the field. This role is focused around trial plot work associated with an intensive breeding program, including management of:
• trial site selection
• managing breeding & disease nurseries
• machinery maintenance
• staff management
Essential Criteria is a minimum 3 years field experience, leadership skills, and agronomic knowledge of WA cropping systems, planning for multiple locations, time management and farm skills.
Desirable skills for this role will include the use of trial machinery, spray programs and application, fabrication and machinery repairs, computer skills, licences for forklift and heavy vehicles.
We require resourceful, hardworking applicants, who have attention to detail and capable of running a small team and planning activities in advance.
